Imagine everyone is carrying a different coloured mirror. Sometimes people look into their mirror and see a “grumpy face,” but they think they are looking at you!. You don’t have to believe what their mirrors say. You have your own “Magic Mirror” that tells you that you are a “good person,” no matter what they think.
Why This Happens: This is called “Anticipated Judgment” and “Transference”. You are “mirroring” other people’s stress because humans naturally pick up on “engine noise”. If you rely on “physical memory” of needing approval from “giants” to survive, you will self-sabotage your own unique ideas to fit a “group value”.
How to Fix It: Use the “Magic Perspex Screen” technique. Imagine a clear, unbreakable shield around you that lets in only “kindness and respect” while keeping out judgment. This protects your “internal engine” from “bad energy contamination” and allows you to “depend more and more on your own judgment”.
Context: Carl Jung emphasized that “relationship health is built through understanding these projections”. By “elevating your consciousness” above the reactive response, you experience your life as a “deliberate choice” rather than an “imposed destiny”.
